We continue to offer Taize Service on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 7:30 p.m.under the direction of Rev. Randy Williamson. You are invited to ‘go deeper’ in your relationship with God. Come experience the peaceful calm of beautiful music and quiet stillness in God’s presence. These services, developed in the monastic Taize community of France, involve simple sung chants, several short readings from Scripture, and time of prayerful sitting and being available to God’s peace and grace.
Next Taize Worship Service:
February 18, 2020.
CONTINUING THE JOURNEY:
Rites of Christian Initiation
There are times in all of our lives when we find ourselves reassessing who we are, who God is for us, and what our lives mean in relationship to God. For all who are interested in continuing their spiritual journeys by working towards Confirmation, Reception into the Episcopal Church, or Reaffirmation of Baptismal Vows, Fr Ernie will discuss the process at Christ Church on January 19 after the 10 am service. Preparatory instruction and readings will take place during February and March, using both online resources and group meetings.
Father Galaz delivered the Benediction at the Dr.Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday Celebration held at First Church Media.
The Season of Epiphany
A season of four to nine weeks, from the Feast of the Epiphany (Jan. 6) through the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday.
