The Rev. Adam P. Kradel, Ph.D., began his ministry at Christ Church on September 8, 2009.  The Rev. Dr. Kradel holds a Masters in Divinity from Virginia Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  Prior to earning his doctorate in political science, Dr. Kradel served parishes in Paris, France, Charleston, West Virginia, and Glenview, Illinois.  Dr. Kradel’s dissertation is titled: “Using the LORD’S Name: The Use and Abuse of Presidential Religious Rhetoric.”  In addition to his graduate work, Dr. Kradel served as priest associate at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Madison, Wisconsin for the last five years.  Dr. Kradel is thrilled to take his experience and expertise in social science, and combine them with this love of preaching and teaching, to bring Christ Church forward in their common life and service to Christ’s world.  The new Rector comes to Media, PA with his wife, the Rev. Melissa Wilcox, and their two young children, Elias and Adelaide.
