Evangelism

And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.  Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”  Matt.28:18-20

Each ministry in Christ Church is rooted in Evangelism.  For example the Hospitality Committee with Ushers and Greeters are in place to welcome visitors and seekers.  In going forward with the formation of an Evangelism Committee the possibilities to develop creative new ways to spread the good news of the Gospel are infinite.  Hosting community event’s such as Guest Speakers, Concerts.  Seasonal advertising for  Lent, Holy Week, Easter, Advent and Christmas.  Social Events including the Chili Cook-off, Spaghetti Dinner, Advent Family Dinner and the Shrove Tuesday Pancake Night. 

Our goal is to witness to everyone, sharing our faith journey.  Opening the door of Christ Church and opening the hearts of many to receive God’s Grace.
